We at HPP were approached by a concerned resident of the North Vancouver District who asked for assistance clearing an area in his neighbourhood.  The area had been used as a green waste dump for many years.  Entering the area was initially challenging, as years of green waste and boulders were piled 1 - 2 metres deep.

Thanks to HPP volunteers, the area is now returned to its natural state and indigenous seedlings and shrubs have been planted.

Our thanks to the District of North Vancouver for supplying the plants and hauling away many truckloads of waste.

We look forward to expanding this initiative and revegetating other local sites.
