PROJECT DRAWDOWN

Climate change results from a disparate range of sources, all of which release carbon dioxide, methane or nitrous oxide into the air.  These sources include burning fossil fuels (coal, oil, and natural gas), destroying forests and peatlands, manufacturing cement and chemicals, and many more.

Project Drawdown presents solutions that we ,as individuals, communities, and nations, can put into effect to reverse global warming.  These solutions reduce greenhouse gases by avoiding emissions or sequestering emissions that are already in the atmosphere.

We  offer presentations in our communities that illustrate steps that can be taken locally to contribute to reversing global warming and thereby creating a healthier Earth for all forms of life..
